About the Team
Within the Corporate Services branch of TfNSW is the Transport Shared Services (TSS) responsible to provide business support to more than 26000 customers. Additionally, TSS services over 300,000 external customers ranging from Local Government representatives to citizens. Over the last year, TSS has implemented a strategy to lead the direction of the organisation towards workforce digitisation, emphasising customer experience and growing the business’s value proposition and services.
The opportunity
Right now, we have a permanent opportunity for an experienced and process driven Customer Service/Administrative professional to join the People Services Team.
Provide consistent high-quality customer service by accurately and efficiently processing all required people services transactions, handling enquiries and preparing reports.
- Apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently to deliver timely and compliant end-to-endprocessing of transactions and resolution of escalated enquiries, in order to ensure the servicecomplies with awards, legislation and TfNSW policies.
- Maintain employee records to ensure that they are current, accurate, easily accessible and kept in aconfidential manner
- Escalate more complex enquiries and transactions to ensure the timely and effective resolution ofissues, providing feedback to the customer to ensure they are aware of the progress of their enquiryand/or transaction.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have but are not limited to;
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in a customer-centric service organisation such as acontact centre, service centre, shared service, corporate or managed service environment.
- Exposure within HR processes/services
- Demonstrated ability to adapt, to learn and implement new processes and procedures as newtechnology, service requirements and work methods emerge.
- Experience using multiple computer-based systems and ability to learn new systems with ease.
- Sound numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain a high degree ofaccuracy.
- Must be able to travel to Burwood office location at least once a week
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 4.
